We spent NYE at home in pajamas, which was actually pretty wonderful and the perfect way to ring in 2018. Just because we didn’t go out doesn’t mean I was going to skimp on my cocktails for the evening!
I’ve actually gotten very good with a shaker, and the Blueberry Mint Gin Fizz has become one of my favorite’s because it tastes like a craft cocktail but is so simple to make at home with a few simple ingredients.
It would have made a lot of sense to share this recipe with you before the drinking holiday passed, I thought about it, but you know, Hi, I’m Lindsey.
Blueberry Mint Gin Fizz
2 oz. Middle West Spirits Vim+Petal Gin
1 oz. Root 23, Blueberry Mint Simple Syrup
Top with Sparkling Water
Garnish with Blueberries & Mint Leaves
{Pro Tip: I muddled a single blueberry and mint leaf in the bottom of the glass, prior to mixing the drink.
I also tried a Pinot Noir float in place of the sparkling water and it wasn’t horrible!}
