This week’s Columbus Boss is a total Girl Boss who has taken a huge leap of faith by starting her own business and adding her own innovative spin on an old idea!

Tricia Grapner, owner of Canvas Creations For You located just South of Downtown Delaware has created a unique and fun setting to paint your very own masterpiece! You can plan an event, fundraiser, gathering of friends, or a traditional paint night, Canvas Creations is the perfect place to let your creative juices flow while creating a masterpiece.

What makes Tricia’s walk-in paint studio so unique compared to others is, no appointment is necessary because of an interactive, video system that allows for painters to receive instruction and follow along. Technically nobody needs to be present in the studio to instruct you to paint, it’s all available through video on an Ipad.

Canvas Creations For You specializes in painting parties for small groups of 10-15 people and will even host groups of 50+ painters. Canvas Creations is mobile and can come into your home or venue to help you host a fun and creative event. From set-up, the actually paint instruction to clean-up, Tricia has created a system that allows everything to happen in a 2 hour time frame. 

No need to commit hours of time to make your paint party a success!

NO previous experience is required for a paint session, you’ll be guided step-by-step through each paint step. Either with an on site instructor or with an instructor on the video Ipad. Having participated in a paint class, I can assure you no paint experience is needed. 

I am the least artistic person there is and Evelyn hasn’t quite found her Picasso groove yet; I was amazed at how well our flamingo turned out with a few simple instructions from Tricia!

There will be 10 paintings to choose from and they will rotate monthly, so even if you are a regular at the studio there will never be a lack of video manuals to follow along with. Each month these paintings will vary in theme and provide patrons with an assortment of painting levels.

There are several size canvas that vary in price to choose from.

8 x 10 – $15

11 x 14 – $25

12 x 12 – $25

16 x 20 – $35

Tricia is a self taught craft enthusiast. She turned to painting while going through some personal struggles and was amazed at the release and happiness it brought to her life.

 With encouragement from her husband, family and friends Tricia just quit her day job to put all of her efforts into making her painting events and walk-in studio a success!

There is no denying the passion Tricia has for her studio and the positive experience it provides for her patrons.
