Kroger: Prep+Pared

Prep+Pared is Kroger’s easy answer to the question, ‘What’s for dinner tonight?’

Fresh, easy and so delicious! Enjoy a chef-designed meal with all the ingredients pre-portioned for you, and ready to serve in minutes. From lemony chicken and chimichurri beef to roasted poblanos stuffed with black beans and quinoa, Kroger’s meal kits make eating gourmet as simple as it gets.

Prep+Pared Meal Kit ingredients are fresh, seasonal, prepped and measured to precisely provide customers with only what is needed for each recipe so there is no waste. Cooking time for each meal kit is about 20 minutes.

Available in the deli department of select Kroger locations, the kits come with all of the ingredients, as well as pre-washed and cut vegetables!

Prep+Pared Meal Kits are available for purchase in stores and through ClickList.

Because I’m a total skeptic and not a very good cook, I wanted to see if it really was as easy as they claimed. And because I like to keep it real with you guys and try/do everything I promote, I went ahead and got myself the Colorado-Style Pork Chili Verde.

I’m here to tell you a meal that will leave your family questioning when you had time to run off and complete culinary classes, is easier than I ever imagined. Making dinner for dummies is what it should really be called, you’d have to work extra hard to screw up a Prep+Pared.

Your meal kit comes with all of the supplies you’ll need. Kroger only takes the liberty of assuming you’ll have some seriously basic products in your kitchen, think vegetable oil, salt and pepper, and a sharp knife, basic. Otherwise everything comes in the kit.

Fresh ingredients.

I was pleasantly surprised everything came already sliced, even the pork!

I did season my meat outside of what it called for, you know all Chef Lindsey style.

Step-by-step instructions.

The only way you won’t be able to follow these instructions is if you can’t read.

It tasted SO good! I added a few tortillas chips and cheese and it made it more of a mexican soup.

My taste buds were rejoicing.

When you’re family asks if the same, basic, old meal is for dinner, surprise them with your new and improved culinary skills with a chef-designed Prep+Pared Kit!

Full Disclosure: I attended a Kroger event, where I was able to sample all of the current kits and received one complimentary kit to make at home. I received no compensation for this blog and all opinions are my own.
