Outfit Post: Off the Shoulder Shirt

While not wanting to be Mom Bloggers, we wouldn’t mind at all or be offended if you all declared us fashion bloggers!
Hahahaha….. yes, that makes me laugh too.

In all seriousness though, as soon as I found this website I knew I had to share it with you! I love to shop but I refuse to spend a lot of money on items that fall into a trend category. A basic white tee or black pair of leggings, I have no problem dropping a pretty penny on items in my closet that I wear like a second skin. When it comes to pieces I know may be out of trend next season, I only want to spend a couple dollars while not looking cheap and still being cute, duh!
I found this site from Stephanie of Olive and Tate. Who is also a self declared, non-fashion blogger but still slays the style department.
SheIn is an online women’s boutique that offers trendy and stylish clothing, while maintaining quality over price. Let’s be real here, it’s located in China and while the clothing is better than most online stores, it is still on the cheap side, I don’t expect it to last for years, but I was surprised how much I liked what I ordered!
I am still loving the off the shoulder trend and I was surprised by how much I liked this periwinkle number with the crochet detailing when it showed up in the mail.
It’s flowy and loose and hides any bumps or lumps easily.
I’m wearing a size large, which is too big. It is meant to be a shirt, but because it is big and the large ran so long on me, I wore it as a dress. I absolutely could not lift my arms over my head or everyone would be graced with the sight of baby got too much back! But it keeps everything under wraps as long as I keep my arms down.
While I rocked it with cowboy boots as a dress, it would pair well with a pair of white skinnies or leggings. It is definitely a versatile piece that can be worn several ways and I will have no problem styling it into fall.

My cowboy boots are ancient. They are Franco Sarto purchased at a DSW when I was in high school, if I remember correctly. Boots are made for walking and these ones will keep on going until they literally fall off my feet.
I stated I LOVED the items I purchased my first go around with SheIn, truth! But my second attempt wasn’t such a success. My little brother is getting married in Hawaii in January, so all summer I have been on the lookout for pieces that will up my fabulous factor while I’m getting my Maui on. I placed a second order with SheIn and everything I ordered was a huge fail or I literally can’t figure out how to put it on!
I will do another post that rounds up all my hits and misses along with pictures, no matter how bad for your viewing pleasure!
I of course couldn’t find the exact shirt to link. But there are endless options if you search ‘off the shoulder.’ When I was scrolling through looking for my specific shirt, I could have bought 10 more off the shoulder shirts and dresses!
Who am I kidding, a third order will definitely be placed.
