We celebrated hard all weekend…..

Upper Arlington Parade.
An annual event we do NOT miss!
If you have not been a part of a 4th of July in Upper Arlington you will have no idea what I’m about to describe. You will think it’s an exaggeration. There is no way you will be able to comprehend the level of dedication, commitment and fun we Arlintonians have every year on this day until you witness it for yourself.
So next year, maybe you should just be there!
To be honest the 4th of July in Columbus is simply the BEST. Beginning with Red, White & Boom, the biggest firework display in Ohio. Not an exaggeration. The Doo Dah Parade which is a one of a kind event unlike anything else you will witness. And dispersing out into the individual suburbs, Columbus throws down every year to celebrate America in a BIG way.
Upper Arlington does not disappoint. There is a huge parade every July 4th morning. Endless parties and then a huge firework display to cap off the day at Northam Park. Conveniently I have friends who live at all the key locations in UA so we have prime seats for all the events!
Upper Arlington High School does their class reunions over the 4th so it is always a Holiday that brings back lots of old friends and familiar faces! People don’t miss it, no matter where they reside.
We have begun discussing our 15 year reunion next summer and I just can’t. There is no way I graduated high school 15 years ago. I’m still so young and cool?!
Considering I was preggo {on the DL and sipping mock-tails} at the 10 year reunion I think Lindsey might be back in a big way next summer.

Rory’s Mom, Renee, the Dentist is my oldest friend. So it is so fun to watch Evelyn & Rory become best friends. One day they will call each other their oldest friends. Just like their Mama’s.
